Tips for the Battle Against Hair Static

Ahhhh! Help!

Ahhhh! Help!

With our heat on full blast this time of year static can be a nightmare for hair. The air dries up, electrons, which are negatively-charged, fly off your hair, leaving your strands with positive charges that resist each other.  Here are 8 tips to keep static away!

1. Rub a light moisturizer or hair serum over your ends. (For yall fined haired girls just use a little on the bottom to calm those wild hairz!)

2.Rub a dryer sheet over your hair! Yes, it truly works. Rubbing the dryer sheet over your brush can be effective or rubbed over your pillow before bed as well.

3. Comb hair with hairspray. Simply spray your comb and go though those flyaways!

4. H20, yes good old fashion water. Pop by the sink and smooth down those locks.

5. Framesi Primer 11, is a go to as it is formulated to fight static, spray  it in anytime wet or dry and go!

6.  Bobby pins.  If those stubbornstrands are clinging to your face a couple of bobby pins can pin the hair away from the  face and down wear it belongs.

7. Braids.  For a little more effort braid your hair, that will keep it in it’s place.

8. Go every other day.  Shampooing every day will help to cut down on drying out the hair.  Kenra dry shampoo can make it possible to wait.
